In the NIBCO® PEX radiant heat system the radiant heat panel contains the pump and other controls which help to circulate the water. The water is heated from a heat source which is typically a water heater or boiler and then distributed through PEX tubing installed in the floor. The heat from the water radiates from the floor up, and stays in the room so there is even temperature from floor to ceiling, while preserving natural humidity. The NIBCO® radiant heat system can save on heating costs, from 10% to 40% over traditional heating systems. NIBCO® PEX tubing, fittings, valves, and manifolds are designed to be used as a complete system, and are backed by a NIBCO INC. limited warranty. Please refer to NIBCO® PEX catalogs and installation manuals for engineering and installation information.
