Description

This 12 inch single chamber drop check main valve is used as the main valve for booster pump control valves with a mechanical lift check feature. It is designed with a two-piece disc and diaphragm assembly that opens and closes as commanded by the pilot control system. The lower portion of this two-piece assembly is a mechanical check feature, which acts independent of diaphragm position or pilot control system and provides immediate check action when flow ceases, preventing reverse flow. This valve features a globe pattern ductile iron ASTM A536 body and cover with NSF listed fusion bonded epoxy coating, Buna-N disc and diaphragm assembly, and stainless steel trim. The operating pressure is 250 psi and operating maximum temperature is 160 degrees F.
