This non-potable ASME pressurized expansion tank, model ET-RA 3000, is designed to absorb the expansion forces and control the pressure in heating and cooling systems. The excess water is contained in the heavy duty butyl bladder preventing tank corrosion and waterlogging problems. This field adjustable steel expansion tank is pre-charged at 12 psi, volume 792 gallons, designed with a removable heavy duty Butyl bladder, 1 1/2 inch NPT system connection and a .302" - 32 charging valve connection (standard tire valve) to facilitate the on-site charging to meet system requirements. The tank is constructed in accordance with Section VIII of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. The maximum design pressure is 125 psiG (8.5 bar) and maximum design temperature is 240 degrees F.
